This collaborative project with Safoura Zahidi was a lantern building workshop for the residents of the Mabelle Park neighbourhood, in cooperation with the Mabelle Arts community art organization. Using the rhombic octahedron as the space-filling polyhedral module, we lead residents of all ages in the process of piecing together the laser cut and 3D-printed components, including the LED clips, resulting in 12 lanterns. This was on the occasion of Ramadan and Eid 2026, with a communal ceremony taking place in the following days.
